The island
Cilik means “small” in Javanese
You can walk around the island in about ten minutes. Palms and tropical forest in the middle, white sand along the edge, and all around a shallow turquoise lagoon with corals stretching out to the reef line.
We are building a small resort here: just 27 villas, a beach restaurant, a spa and a sunset pier. Every building is a single storey, below the palm crowns.

On stilts along a curved pier, with nothing around but water and reef. A terrace with a pool and steps down into the lagoon.

Two-bedroom overwater villa
160 m² at the very end of the pier: a living room with a glass floor above the lagoon, two bedrooms and a deck with an infinity pool.
Reef
Snorkelling starts from your terrace
A lagoon of about 19 hectares rings the island: warm shallow water, coral gardens and the reef edge where the waves break. Every villa has its own steps straight into the water.
Dining
Dinner by a pool that melts into the sea
The restaurant sits right on the beach under a thatched roof. In front of it lies an infinity pool of about 400 m² with a bar, its edge disappearing into the sea. In the evening a fountain plays over the water, and on movie nights films are shown on a water screen.
Spa
Spa, yoga and the quiet of the forest
The spa is tucked away in the heart of the island among the trees: a spa with a sauna, an open-air yoga pavilion and a gym.

Getting here
A short trip from Java, then a boat to the jetty
The island lies in the Java Sea. You fly or take the ferry from Java, then a short boat transfer brings you straight to the resort’s jetty. We will send you the detailed route together with your invitation.
The resort is now at the design stage: the master plan, the working drawings of the first villa and the construction estimate are ready. We will announce the opening to the waitlist first.

A project ready to be built
Cilik Island is a project by BIMX Development, an international full-cycle construction company with 10+ years of experience, 8+ of them in Indonesia, and its own factory and technologies in Bali. We are looking for a partner to build the resort and take on the design, construction and management ourselves.
